A Personal Trainer’s primary responsibility is to provide a top-quality training experience to current and potential members to help them meet their fitness goals. Our Trainers display a high level of team orientation, maintain club cleanliness and safety, and are nationally certified.

WHEN YOU JOIN OUR CLUB, YOU WILL RECEIVE :

  • A Complete new member training exercise orientation, and a individual training session with the member in mind AT NO CHARGE

OUR TRAINERS WILL:

  • Design and develop fitness programs for members as part of the personal training experience.
  • Maintain a professional client file system to track client progress.
  • Answers and resolves customer inquiries in the club. Coordinates with club managers to quickly resolve all customer service concerns.
  • Uses active listening skills (i.e. restating for clarification, eye contact, asking questions, etc.). Effectively communicates and relates to all members
  • Create a climate in which people want to do their best and achieve goals.

Vision, determination, and sweat…three principles I stand by as a fitness professional to obtain one goal: results. I have used my passion for fitness to change the lives of those ready for a healthy future. With my experience, education, and down-to-earth communication skills, I am able to train effectively; and each client is treated as an individual as we take this walk through fitness together.

Physical fitness has been part of my life for over 10 years. My training experience consists of personally training law enforcement officers, athletes, performers, executives, college students, stay-at-home moms, and various blue collar workers. I use a formula that produces the strength, balance, and endurance needed to reconstruct the human body.

Finally, I take pride in my training. I feel most fulfilled when my clients light up while telling me stories about the compliments they receive from friends, co-workers, and from their companions. Above all else, this is what dictates my success in this industry.

Fitness has always been part important to me, but I recently discovered something that completely changed my outlook on fitness and changed my life: Crossfit.

Crossfit is defined as, “constantly varied functional training performed at a high intensity.” Using that definition and using my Crossfit training, I am able to combine exercise that maximizes your results, your capabilities, and your overall fitness level in a fun, motivating atmosphere. Gone are the bicep curls, tricep extensions, and knee extensions! Instead, perform pull-ups, push-ups, and squats; and do them FAST!! I believe that having a strong core leads to a strong and fit body. I have been a personal trainer for 6 years and have been part of the Power & Fitness team since the health club opened in June 2009. Before becoming a personal trainer, I was a competitive athlete throughout school and have been an avid weightlifter since my 20’s. As a trainer, I enjoy working with a wide variety of clientele, from individuals to small groups. I view educating and coaching clients about healthy living, independent exercise, and overall wellness as a key to helping them live a healthy lifestyle. My individualized personal training programs are geared toward overall fitness. Not only do I incorporate full body dynamic workouts for cardio conditioning, but I also use strength & stability moves and use boxing techniques for core strengthening. I also integrate free weights, circuit training, plyometrics, bosu balance trainers, resistance balls, exercise bands, steppers, and kettle bells into my programs. Finally, I conduct weight training sessions for increasing muscle size & strength and toning & shaping muscles. My programs are always interesting and versatile to build a strong and fit body.
